Abandoned Foundry, Rotherham
A building in my home town which I’ve eyed up for a while now, finally got round to exploring this beast this month (July 2014). The building was huge and had some real nice rooms, eerie to say the least; which I like as it keeps you on guard! Floors throughout this place were ruined and certainly were ‘rotten’. I’d consider the place to be a ‘death trap’ throughout some of the many rooms. Not much lighting throughout the complex due to many of the windows been boarded, this made it great for certain shots due to the low lighting. The building was more of less stripped of its original heritage so not many original stuff hanging around except for the old ‘visitors book’ and the polaroid photo which you’ll see within the photos of this post.

Missed this post. Great set. Loved this place. All this sun we’ve been having has made for some great photo opportunities.
