History
Mortuary explore at the Papworth Everard site. The hospital was responsible for the word’s first heart transplant in 1979 the world’s first heart, lung, and liver transplant in 1986, Papworth became world known for this. The site closed Saturday 4th May 2019 and is going through the equipment decommissioning process. Royal Papworth now has a new site at the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.
