History
“Great Yarmouth Power station is a a combined cycle gas and steam turbine power plant, with a capacity of 420 MW, which is enough to meet the needs of more than 300,000 households. The power plant was built in 2000 and commissioned in 2002, however went through a major upgrade during 2018. This significant project has increased station output and efficiency, as well as extending the lifetime of the plant, enabling greater flexibility in its operations and improving emissions.”
