RAF Coltishall, Norfolk

History
RAF Coltishall was an RAF station established in 1938 and played a vital role in defending the eastern coast during World War II. It transitioned through various aircraft and roles during its history, serving as a fighter base during the Cold War era and a Tornado ADV interceptor base in the 1980s. However, it was closed in 2006 as part of the Ministry of Defence’s restructuring efforts, and the site has since been repurposed for civilian use as Scottow Enterprise Park.
